The Influence of Colors

Colors have a strong influence on the clothes and the wearer. Choosing the right combination can provide more harmony and a more aesthetic look. The color tones can highlight the beauty of both the clothes and the person or the person look like a complete disaster. So it is very important to know a little about how to combine the colors before you go shopping.

Does this match? "This goes well with that? What I can use with this? These are just some of the questions we ask ourselves and others, while clothes shopping. Usually, we go with the safe option and boring. Black goes well with almost all white and orange colors, but what about the color pink? Do they go well together? The answer is YES!

It is not easy to make the right combinations. To help with that, you can use the color circle or color wheel color.

Neighboring colors in the circle are similar and have the same base color. Example: In a dark yellow and dark red orange color in common.

Opposite colors are called complementary colors, as they are contrasting each other.

So the right choice of complementary colors, has an enormous impact on the final result and if matched correctly, can be a complete disaster. So please be aware that before going to look like a Christmas tree!

Even with the understanding and the circle, the only sure way to know if two colors match is to try and experiment together. In general, more personal costumes are the most original. But it is important to know that not all colors of the party and not all the colors complement each other.

An easy rule

An easy rule to remember and apply is very similar shades of the same color they almost never go wrong. We will use two different shades of gray as an example.

A light gray and medium light gray look like a rainy day. Sad, boring and not creative (some call conservative or pro), but let's be honest, you can be both professional and conservative shades of red, blue and purple, even. By using the same shades of the same color, only make you look like you have a bad sense of fashion. But if you choose two tones that are far apart to be a surprising effect and still give the appearance matching your criteria.

To make your computer a bit more lively, dressed in gray with pink or yellow.

This will allow you to dress for any occasion, whether professional, informal, elegant or sexy (think secretary).

So the rule is not trying to match two colors that are almost the same. The shadows have to be far apart, which also means not wearing jeans at the top and bottom.
